Forbes has recently compiled a list of the top 15 wealthiest fictional characters, as of 2011, taking into account inflation, the resources they own, etc.
Scrooge McDuck is at the top of the list at $44.1 billion, having made a killing this past year as the price of gold has soared 30%. (McDuck's #1 status reminded me to become, once again, excited beyond belief about this.)
Others on Forbes' list include Mr. Burns, Artemis Fowl, and Tony Stark.
