Walt Disney Wednesday

For this Walt Disney Wednesday post, I'd like to make a few comparisons between Walt Disney and Michael Eisner:

"Disneyland is a work of love. We didn't go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money." —Walt Disney

"These assets are completely complementary to our existing holdings, and they all go to Disney's" —Michael Eisner

"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." —Walt Disney

"If you're soft and fuzzy, like our little characters, you become the skinny kid on the beach, and people in this business don't mind kicking sand in your face." —Michael Eisner

"Disneyland is your land..." —Walt Disney

"And just in the nick of time, ... Next week, I couldn't take credit for it." —Michael Eisner

So, there you have it. The visionary, the dreamer, the creator: Walt Disney. And the unimaginative, uninspired, plodding, money-driven Michael Eisner. Well, think of them as you will, but these quotes should be enough evidence for you...
